We’re happy to provide more information to help you choose the right slicer for your needs. The maximum size of meat that each slicer can accommodate varies slightly depending on the model:
MS-10DS: Can slice meat up to 7” (L) x 7.5” (W) x 5.5” (H)
MS-12 Series: Can handle up to 8.5” (L) x 11” (W) x 8” (H)
Depending on the dimensions of the product you’re planning to slice, one model may suit your needs better than the other.
As a helpful tip from some of our bacon-loving customers: if your bacon slab is wider than 5.5″ but still within the height range mentioned above, many users have found success by folding the bacon in half while thawed, then lightly freezing it before slicing. This method allows you to slice bacon up to 14 inches wide with our MS-10 models, and up to 17 inches with our MS-12 models — while still achieving clean, even cuts.
